KSA'S POT LUCK THANKSGIVING DINNER

On a cold, chilly Wednesday night, KSA (Korean Student Association) hosted a Pot Luck Thanksgiving dinner for all its members. They had many dishes including but not limited to coleslaw, rice, chicken noodle soup without the soup, corn, a zesty salad with balsamic sauce, and Korean inspired dishes such as sautéed beef with herbs and Duk Bbo Ggi which was drenched with sauces. Last but not least, they had a slow roast turkey for everyone. The turkey meat was succulent and tasty.

This was a meal for all the members of KSA and in the words of David Woo, the president of KSA, “This event is meant to bring us together, like a family.”

PUSO'S VIDEO GAME TOURNAMENT

On October 29th, PUSO (Philippines United Student Organization) held a video game tournament in the SAC Ballroom. With adrenaline fueled ambitions, competitors challenged each other in a virtual duel of twitchy fingers and split second reaction times. The featured games were Guitar Hero 3 on a projector screen, Halo 3, Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), and the hugely popular Nintendo franchise, Super Smash Brothers Brawl. As attendees came and went, the SAC ballroom relaxed stressed out students from a daunting week of midterms and class.
