Do we support everyone who is an SBU alumn? No.
So why is he on the Asian American E-Zine since he's
obviously not Asian?
Steve was not only a student at Stony Brook, he was involved
in NYPIRG as Stony Brook's coordinator. It was primarily
through his efforts that Stony Brook students are allowed to
register in Suffolk County using their campus address to
vote in ALL elections. Rather than trucking back to Buffalo
to vote for Obama - resident students only had to walk as
far as SAC.
Every resident student at Stony Brook who values their right
to vote owes Steve a thank-you! And the best thank-you to
give him? Now that he's representing the Stony Brook area in
Brookhaven Town - give him your vote!
